Here's the solution:

PS  I second that ^ "Fiesta Red Oooooohhhh baby!!"  Rawk1 That's a sweet one!

Hmm, interesting. +1. But I would have to pass on the scalloped fretboard just because I have never played a guitar like that.

Just pickin' nits here, but that would look much better against almost any other color background.

I agree with ya, and it's also a fine excuse to re-post this guitar pic  ROTF

I don't know; at first I thought it looked pretty good. Then I kept looking, and had to change my mind.

You've got 12 notes, do what you want with them.

Its where in between each fret ( generally on the higher frets) The wood is sanded down. It makes like a U shape in between each fret. This is supposed to improve tone or something.

Scratch that. Upon further research ( I sound so smart) Scalloped is so there is no string to wood contact making vibrato and bending easier.

You need a light touch with scalloped fretboards , easy to press too hard and put yourself out of tune ...  Shocked

Coming from a violin background, I initially hated strats when I picked up guitar. In terms of woodwork, they are very plain and dull things. I was much more attracted to the PRS style SE guitars with F-holes.

As time went by, and after playing many Gibson LPs (suck), I finally picked up a strat and absolutely fell in love with the feel and sound. They are everything I could ever want in a guitar functionally speaking. Meanwhile, I finally got to play the beautiful PRS guitars only to be extremely disappointed.

and now to post my beauty. She stays hidden in the shadows; you can hardly see that I'm even holding a guitar in many scenarios. Its awesome.

try a Jackson maybe? ESP superstrat?
