I used to not like the star inlays on the Sambora Strat, but I think I'm changing my mind.

AK: A headstock is a big deal though! When I was looking at my dream guitar, trying to find out what it would be, I found one that I loved but wasn't happy with the headstock, it would always bug me. Then I found the actual head shape I wanted and I fell in love with it!

I was so close to buying one of those once. I really regret not buying it. Not only do I love Richie's playing, but his signature guitar looks fantastic...and I used to like Floyds...

I think I ended up buying an amp instead. Which, along with everything else except the stuff i've bought in the last eight years or so, ended up being sold.

Lovely, isn't it? The Ron Kirn Nuthin' Finer Strat. Man knows how to make a nice guitar, and from the YouTube clips, they sound as good as they look. If I had the money, I'd get one before I'd get a Custom Shop Fender.
